Habitat
Thrift Stores are
retail outlets where quality used and surplus materials,
clothes, furniture, appliances and household goods are sold at a
fraction of normal prices. Proceeds from store help local
affiliates fund the construction of Habitat houses within the
community. Materials sold by Habitat stores are usually donated
from individuals, organizations and businesses. Items are
cleaned and restored by Habitat volunteers and staff.
Items accepted by Habitat Thrift Store include: building
materials, household appliances, furniture, toys, clothes,
knickknacks, books, and various items in good condition. STORE
HOURS:
The Habitat for Humanity of Dodge County, Inc. Thrift Store is
open Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday 9 a.m. to 1
p.m. Call or fax the store at (478) 374-2913.It is located at
the Stuckey Habitat Complex at 711 Soperton Highway in Eastman,
Georgia. (Second building on the left past Warren Way). Drop
off is
available after
store hours behind
the store. Tax deduction sheets and receipts can be made
available upon request.
